Even though I'm an addict when it comes to black clothing especially in the autumn/winter time, as soon as it gets warm enough to store my jackets away I immediately begin craving more colourful pieces. Summer is usually the season when it is pretty rare to find me in head to toe all black but every so often I find a few pieces that draw me back to the simplicity of the classic combination. It’s the little details, like a small bow, a ruffle or a pearl button that bring personality to something simple and make me love it. Also, when I'm in a hurry in the morning or I'm getting late (it happens more often than I would admit), I always end up grabbing something black last minute or when I don’t know what to wear black is a chic option that would suit every occasion.

I’d been eyeing this blush H&M trench coat since forever. It’s the epitome of feminine and delicate and I knew if I tried it on, I wouldn’t be able to walk away without it. And although it’s already so hot in Sofia that you definitely don't need a trench or any other outerwear piece, I'm already excited about the variety of outfits I can create with it when the early autumn arrives. Also, I'm planning on stocking with two more trench coats in the next months - a classic black one and a timeless khaki one.

If you are a fashion addict like me then you probably already know that the checked blazer is a huge trend for some time now. And even though I'm not particularly a 'trends' follower I was more than excited to incorporate that piece of clothing into my wardrobe as well, since I'm a blazer addict too.. But when I started to look for that one perfect checked blazer, it turned out that this was not an easy task at all. It took me several months if I have to be completely honest with you. But eventually, I found the most perfect petit friendly checked blazer two weeks ago, when I was casually checking the sales. So, not only that I finally joined the trend but also didn't spend a fortune, which is a win-win situation for me. The things that really caught my eye were the elegant silhouette and those gorgeous black laces on both sides of the blazer. The minute I tried it on, I knew how I would style it.

There’s a chill in the air over here in Bulgaria and it has me wanting to bring out my warmest sweater, wrap up in a blanket and cuddle with my boyfriend and a hot drink in hand.
I can never seem to have enough knit sweaters or cardigans to be more particular. Every time I walk into a store and see a nice, bohemian stack of cardigans, I immediately dart in that direction. These are my favorite styles and I seem to wear them no matter the season. In the fall I combine them with more weather appropriate clothes, like chunky booties, ripped jeans and of course a wide-brim hat, whereas in the summer time I usually just throw a cardigan of this type over a white linen dress and add a straw hat to complete the bohemian vibe.

May was cold. Not freezing, but pretty close. When it’s that cold and you’re spend a majority of the weekend outside like my boyfriend and I did (not to mention the terrible cold that I recenly caught), the most important thing is being both warm and comfortable, so I layered up some of my coziest pieces including this lightweight black cardigan and these very cool fringe boots from H&M, which I have in black and in camel color too. That's how much I love them.

I’ve had a love affair with round sunglasses and leather jackets for years maybe. This particular jacket I bought from Stradivarius two or three years ago even though I wasn't sure at all if this is the right model for my body type. In the end it became a favorite of mine and has been one of my go-tos ever since as I have mentioned several times already.
Having a great leather jacket that looks just as good over a flowy summer dress as it does paired with jeans and a tee is essential in every women’s wardrobe and I love this one and this one, similar to the one I’m wearing here. I also really like this pastel pink one and this one with fringes.

I bought this Stradivarius blazer a few years ago as my first “nice” black blazer purchase. It’s still one of the best pieces I’ve added to my wardrobe and has been one of my go-tos ever since. I could easily say that my black blazer and my denim/ leather jackets are the most-worn outerwear pieces I have. Also, this classic model has proven to pair with basically everything.
Another thing that I currently love is everything lace! I’d been eyeing the exact lace blouse that I'm wearing in this post from Mohito but in blush colour since I saw the pastel lace is very trendy at the moment. It’s the epitome of feminine and delicate and I know if I try it on, I won't be able to walk away without it. It’s definitely a piece that I will wear a lot since it can be combined with nicer accessories for special occasions, while at the same time it works just as well for everyday with simple blue jeans and a jacket. Besides, it has the sweetest velvet bow, which plays beautifully against the dainty lace.

One of the exciting things about travelling to somewhere new is the newness of everything. While the feelings of unfamiliarity and absence of a routine feel a bit scary, it’s also a fun time to be embracing new surroundings. It also opens your eyes on being more appreciative for the things around us when we're home. There is beauty no matter where you are, whether you live in a city, the country, the suburbs or somewhere in between.
So in the end of 2016, my boyfriend and I headed out to visit one of the handful of historic places around Sofia - the Vrana Palace.
This exact weekend was also our first one that welcomed the brisk mornings that autumn brings. For that reason there weren't that much visitors. At the time of our arrival we noticed a few dozen visitor’s cars parked in the entry, but after a few minutes of roaming the grounds, we realized that the place was big enough to feel like we were the only ones there.

When it comes to summer clothes I'm all into bohemian this year.. There is nothing more attracting to me than off-the-shoulder tops and free-spirited silhouettes. I can't exactly say when this boho obsession began, but I still remember the day I found this perfect set on the H&M site back in February. It was freezing outside and not even close to summer but I immediately ordered it and started dreaming of summer destionations. And even though I'm already excited for Christmas (too early?!), I still feel nostalgic for the warm summer evenings we had in Greece just a couple of weeks ago.

The last time I have spoken to you I was telling you about my obsession with off-the-shoulder tops. So, here it is another one of my ever growing collection, which this time I styled more feminine and ladylike. I have this skirt for more than a year already and that was the first time that I actually wore it. Not because I didn't like it but mainly because I had this idea in my head of how I wanted to style it and there was not a single shirt or a top in my wardrobe to fulfill that idea. So, basically this skirt was waiting quiеtly in the dark to the moment I bought this fabulous top from H&M loves Coachella line a couple of months ago.

One of the greatest things about my hometown is that it's actually right beside the mountains. It literally takes less than ten minutes and you are far from the city noise deep into the calmness of the nature. It can't ever become boring to me or to my boyfriend since we both love the mountains, and besides, there is something so fun about doing more touristy things in your own town. So, on a free weekend last September (You read it correctly.. last September! I just don't know how I managed to forget about these pictures..) my boyfriend and I grabbed some friends (and some food, of course) and jumped into the car to spend a laid back afternoon in the nature. We chose a place, which is known not only for its historical significance, but also with its breathtaking views of the town and the valley below. The landscapes are so strikingly gorgeous, that you simply can't believe they are real.

If you are planning a trip to Kavala, be prepared because there is a lot to be seen there. Kavala was founded at about the end of the 7th century BC, so you can imagine the amount of historical sights in the area. We stayed for 7 nights and couldn't see even the half of it. Still, I decided to make a series of posts with the places that we visited and found interesting. On one very hot afternoon we drove to the center of the old town called Panagia (it means Virgin Mary), where we left the car and went off exploring. The first thing we saw was a large paved square with the statue of Mehmet Ali (also known as Mohammed Ali, 1769-1849), Pasha of Egypt and native of Kavala.

During Easter my boyfriend, some friends and I made a spontaneous road trip to Karlukovo in attempt to visit the Prohodna Cave, also known as The Eyes of God. It's an amazing karst cave and unbelievable natural phenomenon. The main reason for that are the two equal-sized eye-like holes in its ceiling, formed by the nature itself through erosion, hence the name of the cave. The weather was great and sunny, and even though it was only one day trip, we had really good time together. It was like the begining of the summertime for us. There is nothing more charging than a day in the nature with some close friends.

After catching a couple of colds in the last two weeks and a month of constant rain, the spring finally came to our little country. It's hot and sunny outside and I'm about going to work in a couple of hours but in the meanwhile I decided to share these black and white pictures I shot some time ago. It was still cold and grey outside and I was wearing quite monochrome look, but still one of my favorites. It includes my beloved round glasses, my new combat boots and my gypsy leather backpack! All of this combined with a silk and a lot more elegant shirt with a bow tie. What do you think about it?

I have some really good news to share with you today.. Since 1st of December I'm officially done with the University. I took my state exams and even though the graduation will be held in February, I'm officially a Pharmacist now. I'm even looking for jobs..

About today's look - leather pants and biker boots, as I mentioned in the last post, it's quite typical outfit for me. I like to combined them with more elegant or more casual shirts and blouses, which changes the whole look. In this case I'm wearing a plaid shirt, also a must in my autumn/winter wardrobe.

The other required element of the look is my leather backpack. I found it in a thrift shop this summer, and since then I wear it on a daily basis.

What do you think? Is this look your cup of tea or it's a little bit edgy for you?
