Aside from decorating the home for the holidays, one of the other things that will never fail to get me into the holiday spirit is dressing the part. This year, there may be less holiday parties and gatherings to attend, but we need to try our best to make the most of it! Now is the time to plan your outfit for Christmas Day. My family loves staying cozy in the morning with our holiday pajamas and slippers but come afternoon time, we switch into our festive party outfits. Here are a few Christmas outfits you can use as an inspiration for your own Christmas Day plans!
Touch Of Plaid
Not all holiday looks need to incorporate solid red into them. Red plaid prints manage to look cheery and bright whether that’s a mini skirt, coat, or flannel top. Add a red plaid coat or blazer over your favourite blouse and leather skirt – pants are cool too. This particular combo is one that will take you from day to night anytime throughout the holiday season.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. I love the holidays and the festivities that come with it. This time of year I love wearing bold, bright and cheerful reds. A pop of red brings a festive touch to any holiday look, whether it’s in a simple accessory or full-on head-to-toe ensemble. Also, I would take any excuse to wear my red beret.

Obviously fair-isle sweaters, reds and plaids are a no brainer for this time of year. However, why not take your Christmas Day outfit to the next level? Don't hesitate to be as bold and as colourful as you want. It's Christmas time after all. In this case I went all the way with this matching plaid blazer and a mini skirt set I'm obsessed with, that made me feel like I'm working at the North Pole!
