First Designer Bag / Karl Lagerfeld

I love bags, and I know a lot of you do, too. They’re the accessory that we never leave home without - they carry our lives and we rely on them much more than we admit. We’re constantly making a conscious decision between function or fashion when it comes to handbags. So, when I decided to buy my first ever designer bag, it was definitely a tough decision. I wanted a city fashion bag which is at the same time suitable for everyday use not only for special occasions. And even though I have more bags on my wishlist than I would like to admit, I finally made my mind and chose the RUE ST-GUILLAUME BUCKET BAG by Karl Lagerfeld.

I knew this was the bag where I could really have it all! I no longer have to choose between function or fashion, instead I can have both and it’s all wrapped up in one beautifully made handbag. It is black, so it goes perfectly well with most of the clothes in my wardrobe, and yet chic enough thanks to its playful design. The versatility of the bucket bag is guaranteed thanks to the optional shoulder strap and the famous logo is that little something that really made the bag feel extra special to me.

I have to say, I’m obsessed! I haven’t stopped using it since it arrived. It’s the perfect everyday size bag - not too small but not too big either, with just enough room to store my daily essentials. It fits all you need without being heavy, my camera, wallet, phone, and little beauty stuff. I am sure I would carry it for all sorts of occasions - day or night, and I think that it goes perfectly well with dressier looks as well as with more casual outfits and even sneakers, because of its cool vibe and monochrome accents.
