The Hottest Summer 2020 Trends You Need Before The Season Is Over

As we transition into fall, it’s time to start thinking about how we can stretch the summer items in our wardrobes and continue wearing them into the cooler weather. Whether you live somewhere that is starting to grow cooler or somewhere that is still hot and humid, here are the hottest summer 2020 trends you need that will up your style game during this transitional period.

Strappy Sandals

Now is the best time to stock up on summer sandals – not only because so many have gotten marked down – but because there are so many great styles you can take into fall.  The Strappy Sandals in particular were an absolute must this spring and summer season, so why not enjoy them a little bit longer during this gorgeous fall weather we are currently in the midst of. So many designers gave those classic summer sandals a massive update in the last months. Luckily, so many high-street brands put their own spin on these styles too, making them more affordable for the rest of us. Depending on your summer vibe, you can stick to the tried and true neutral (black, or white) or opt for something more punchy like a baby blue, lilac or hot pink.

Padded Cassette Bag

This year the biggest trends among the bags were so many and so different that there was something for literally everybody - from oversized clutches and pouches to numerous shoulder bags and etc. And even though it’s never a bad idea to invest in a good handbag, it depends on you if you would go for the latest trend of for something more classic. Either way, for me the "It" bag of the year definitely is the Padded Cassette Bag. Whether you’re ready to splurge on an investment-worthy piece, like Bottega Veneta’s endless assortment, or prefer a mid-priced style, this type of bag looks super chic and will continue being the hottest trend during the autumn/winter season too.

Matching Sets

Matching sets were huge last year, but it seems that this trend is not going anywhere any time soon. The matching blazers and shorts make getting dressed a piece of cake, leaving you more time to play around with different accessories.
During this transitional time as summer begins to give way to fall, I plan on wearing all of my matching summer suits that I never had the chance to enjoy to the fullest since it was way too hot for them in July and August, but now it seems like the weather is more than perfect.
plaid pattern typically lends itself more with the fall season, which we are slowly approaching, but this particular design features a lighter colour palette, making it totally wearable in the end of summer too. What are your thoughts?
