The Cotton Dress You Will Love This Summer

Even though it is the beginning of September, outside is still sunny and hot as in the midst of summer. Thanks to that I would be able to live in dresses a little bit more before the autumn arrives. My favourite thing this time of year is to simply slip into a dress and head right out the door. Last week my boyfriend and I exchanged the hot city environment with the coolness of the mountains by taking a few days off at our favourite cabin village in Borovets. The temperature there was perfect, not too hot nor too cold. The perfect opportunity to wear my jungle print dress that I've been obsessed with for the last couple of months.  I can’t imagine a more quintessentially summer-ready dress, from its breezy cotton fabric, to its cheery pattern, to the color palette that feels beachy and adventurous at the same time.

If there’s one thing you won’t find me without this summer, it’s some sort of straw, rattan or wicker accessory as you have probably already noticed. They’re quite possibly my favorite thing to wear everyday in the summertime besides dresses, and more often than not, you’ll see me carrying one. Whether we’re traveling or I’m just running regular errands at home, I always find a big (or small) basket bag useful. I personally love the texture that it adds to any outfit - tee and jeans just look cuter with a little tote, and some of my favourite dresses feel more day appropriate when I wear them with any one of my wicker bags.

Also, by now you all must know my obsession with hats of all sorts. A big wide-brim hat is an accessory I bring on almost every warm-weather trip and this one was no exception. It adds that little something that finishes off the whole look. Scroll through below to see more of my favorite hats.
