I’ve had a sweet spot for one print this season and that’s all things citrus. I've never been a big fan of the color yellow, but since the lemon print have popped up everywhere, I became obsessed with it. We can find it on all kinds of shirts and t-shirts, on dresses, skirts, even on swimsuits and different homeware pieces. I guess you already saw my sheets with lemons all over them, that I can't get enough of all summer long. I don't know if it is because the yellow colour almost instanly lifts my mood when I wake up in the morning or because the lemon print makes me dream of a summer holiday in Italy, but I simply adore it.
And speaking of Italy, what is more pleasing than a trip to its little piece of heaven - Capri..
Capri, Italy. Yes, I know you’ve heard of it. Maybe seen pictures of its idyllic coasts? Dreamt of taking a dip in its crystal clear aqua blue water? Gotten a postcard from its too-beautiful-to-be true blue grotto? The truth is, Capri may just be paradise.
From the blue sea and lush green vegetation to fuchsia bougainvillea blooms and whitewashed houses, Lanvin has drawn inspiration from the rich colors and natural beauty of the island of Capri, channeling a fresh, bright, light mood with its new women's fragrance, 'A Girl in Capri' - a fragrance for a woman with a bright smile and sparkle in her eyes, for a girl who exudes confidence and freedom, whose presence lifts our mood. The golden rays of the sun, the fresh scent of flowers and the yellow citrus colors are embodied in the scent of a girl from Capri.
Developed by perfumer Sophie Labbé, this Eau de Toilette opens with aromatic notes of Primofiore lemon essence, bergamot and red berries, revealing a heart of white flowers of grapefruit and a salty, sea breeze accord. The base brings notes of driftwood and white musk, giving the scent a delicate touch.
The fragrance bottle stands out with its round shape and sunny yellow shade. The white lid with gold detailing contrasts with the bright lettering of the fragrance namе, reminding of a sun-kissed lemon itself..
If that's not enough tempting for you, I suggest go to the nearest shop and try it yourself. I bet you would start planning your next summer holiday.. in Capri!
